The Ernest Rutherford Fellowship is a five-year UK research fellowship funded by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) to support exceptional early-career researchers in developing independent research careers in STFC priority areas, including computer science, physics, astronomy, and related disciplines. The fellowship is hosted at a UK research institution and aims to enable researchers to establish independent lines of inquiry with institutional support. It provides salary support and additional allowances to facilitate research activity and mobility.
