5th GoChile Summer School of Astronomy

A week-long summer school for secondary school students to carry out astronomical observation projects using the GoChile remotely controlled telescope and to receive classes and mentorship in astrophysics. Participants work in pairs on research projects with mentors and present their results. The programme includes afternoon classes on topics from AI in astronomy to stellar evolution and practical telescope sessions near Hiša mladih in Ajdovščina. Accommodation and meals are provided free of charge.

Intended for secondary school students enrolled in any school for the academic year 2025/26, including all secondary and vocational schools.
