Summer School of Astronomy and Astrophysics 2026

An 8-week intensive online summer school in astronomy and astrophysics consisting of 6 core instructional weeks followed by a 2-week project and certification phase. The program offers weekly live interactive classes, hands-on training with AstroPy and Python, analysis of real FITS research datasets, mentored research or review paper preparation, and access to recorded lectures. Participants receive certification upon project completion and curated reading materials. The course emphasizes professional observing techniques, article writing and technical reporting.

Participants should have a basic understanding of Physics and Mathematics and an interest in computational data analysis; basic familiarity with Python is helpful but not mandatory.
