An international summer school offering a practical introduction to Education for Sustainable Development (BNE) and exploring the regional BNE landscape around the city of Hannover. Participants visit innovative schools, experience different learning sites and formats, and meet policymakers and civil society activists. The programme facilitates transnational dialogue between students and academic staff and fosters critical discussions about teaching in changing school contexts. The overall aim is promoting a transformative learning culture and training educators as change agents to implement UNESCO's BNE concept.
