About this opportunity
A postdoctoral fellowship program supporting highly qualified, recent doctoral scientists to carry out an integrated program of independent research and education in areas supported by the Division of Astronomical Sciences. Fellows may pursue observational, instrumental, theoretical, laboratory or archival data research in any area of astronomy or astrophysics combined with a coherent educational plan. Fellowships may be taken to eligible host institutions chosen by the fellow and support researchers for a period of up to three years. The program aims to provide early-career investigators with experience in research and education to establish them for leadership in the scientific community.
