TEAM-UP Together Research Fellowship

A research fellowship supporting undergraduate student researchers in physics, astronomy, or closely related majors. The program provides a student stipend and pairs students with an engaged research mentor for either an academic year or summer research. Mentors receive a stipend and commit to weekly support and engagement with the student. The fellowship prioritizes students with no prior research experience and those facing significant barriers to success.

Student stipend ($5,000/semester or $8,000 summer), engaged research mentorship and an impactful learning experience; mentor stipend ($4,000 academic year or $2,500 summer).

Undergraduate physics or astronomy majors (closely related majors considered) at accredited U.S. colleges/universities or recent graduates permanently residing in the U.S.; priority for students with no prior research experience and those facing significant barriers.
