A 10-week summer undergraduate research program run by the University of Hawaiʻi Institute for Astronomy in partnership with the NSF REU program. Participants work with IfA astronomers on astrophysical research and instrumentation projects, and may take part in observing runs at Maunakea or Haleakalā. The program includes daily journal clubs, weekly seminars, outreach activities, and social events. Stipends and certain travel/accommodation costs are provided for NSF-funded positions.
