Information

A 10-week summer research internship at Brigham Young University where undergraduate students conduct real-world robotics research on campus in Provo. The program focuses on projects enabling robots to operate in extreme environments, including underwater, aerial, and space applications. It is intended to prepare students for graduate school and careers in robotics. The program is funded by the National Science Foundation as an REU site.

Benefits

A $7,000 stipend, a settling-in stipend, potential partial or full travel funding to present research, hands-on research experience and mentorship.

Eligibility

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and currently enrolled as undergraduates at an accredited U.S. college or university with at least one semester remaining after the program; applicants must agree to BYU's Code of Conduct and Honor Code and meet BYU visiting student requirements including a 2.5 GPA, no criminal history, and enrollment in research credits.
