About this opportunity
The IDEA Travel Support is a program administered by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society to increase diversity by facilitating access for underrepresented groups to attend a major IEEE RAS conference. The award covers registration, travel costs and accommodation up to a specified limit to attend one conference (examples: ICRA, IROS, CASE, Humanoids, RoboSoft, BioRob, ROMAN).

Registration, travel costs and accommodation up to $3300; opportunity to assist in organization of IEEE RAS Diversity Events and potential to co-organize local follow-up events.
Eligibility
Secondary, undergraduate and graduate students interested in robotics or automation, underrepresented groups (including women, underrepresented minorities, first-generation college students, LGBTQ+), people with disabilities, and people who have stepped away from the field and want to return; applicants must not have been actively publishing to IEEE RAS conferences or similar in the last three years.
