Information

The NCF-Envirothon is an environmental and natural resources conservation problem-solving, leadership and academic competition for secondary school students. It incorporates STEM principles, hands-on learning and outdoor field experiences focused on aquatic ecology, forestry, soils and land use, wildlife, and current environmental issues. Teams develop critical thinking skills and propose solutions to local and global environmental and natural resource challenges. The program is managed by the National Conservation Foundation and supported by the NCF-Envirothon Operating Committee.

Eligibility

The Envirothon is for secondary school (high school) students in grades 9-12 or ages 14-19 across the United States, Canada, China, and Singapore.

Application

Teams qualify by placing first in their state, provincial or partner nation Envirothon competition; qualified teams are eligible to attend the international competition.
