ActInSpace

ActInSpace is an international innovation contest and hackathon that unites participants to solve space-related challenges over a 24-hour period. It is organised by the French Space Agency (CNES) with support from the European Space Agency (ESA) and operated for the 6th edition by Telecom Valley and Safe. Local sites worldwide host simultaneous local hackathons, and winners of local events advance to international semi-finals and finals held in Bordeaux, France. The event promotes entrepreneurship and guidance for teams, with expert support available during the hackathon.

Participants receive expert support during the hackathon (remote and local experts), entrepreneurial guidance, and may compete for international prizes (previous international prize included a zero-gravity flight).
