Information

A student-led bioinformatics hackathon for early career scientists to tackle interdisciplinary projects combining bioinformatics, biology, statistics and computer science. Participants work in teams to propose solutions with commercialization potential and may either join existing teams or propose a new project. The event runs as an in-person weekend hackathon at the Terrence Donnelly Centre, University of Toronto. Monetary prizes will be awarded to winning teams.

Eligibility

Early career scientists may participate; individuals may request to be placed on an existing team or may propose a new project (maximum 300-word abstract) and serve as team lead.

Application

Register using the Participant Registration Form on the event webpage; if proposing a project, also submit a Project Application Form with a max 300-word abstract and optionally request team members.
