Information

A 9-week virtual student hackathon to build solutions using the DIGGS (Data Interchange for Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists) standard. Open to students from disciplines including civil/geotechnical engineering, geology, software engineering and computer engineering. Teams of any size (including solo) may participate and choose from four challenge themes covering data conversion, visualization, design/interpretation, and cross-discipline integration. Winners will be announced at the 2026 Geo-Congress.

Eligibility

Open to all students, including those studying civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, geology, software engineering, or computer engineering.
