Information

Doodle for Google is an annual art competition for K–12 students to design an original Google homepage doodle based on a central theme. The contest advances through local and national judging stages and names a National Winner whose artwork is featured on Google’s homepage. The competition awards scholarships, tech prizes, and national recognition to winners and finalists.

Benefits

National Winner: $45,000 college scholarship, $50,000 technology package for their school or nonprofit, and featured doodle on the Google homepage; National Finalists: $10,000 scholarships and tech prizes; State Winners: Google merchandise, certificates and recognition.

Eligibility

Students in grades K–12 enrolled in a U.S.-based school (public, private, or homeschool), who are U.S. citizens or legal residents, with parent/guardian or teacher consent.

Application

Visit the official Doodle for Google website, download the entry form/template, create original artwork based on the theme, write a short artist statement, obtain required parent/guardian or teacher signature, and submit the entry online or by mail with the completed form and materials.
