Information

A grants program that provides semester or summer funding to support undergraduate research for students in Cornell Engineering and Biological or Environmental Engineering (BEE) majors. Awards may be used for student wages or project expenses and are administered through Cornell Duffield Engineering's Office of Inclusive Excellence. Students apply together with a faculty mentor. Award decisions for the Summer 2026 cycle will be made in late April–early May 2026.

Eligibility

Undergraduate students currently enrolled in the College of Engineering and Biological or Environmental Engineering (BEE) majors; students must apply alongside a faculty mentor. Students graduating in spring 2026 are not eligible for summer 2026 funding.
