Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) program

The SCGSR program provides supplemental awards to outstanding U.S. graduate students to conduct part of their graduate thesis research at a U.S. Department of Energy National Laboratory in collaboration with a DOE National Laboratory scientist. The program is intended to prepare graduate students for scientific and technical careers important to the DOE Office of Science mission.

Supplemental award to conduct part of graduate thesis research at a DOE National Laboratory; access to laboratory expertise, resources, and capabilities; possible short international research visits to select centers.
