Information

A travel award funded by the National Science Foundation to support selected students and early-career engineers from the United States to participate in MSEC 2026 and NAMRC 54 at Penn State University. Awardees will have registration and lodging for the entire conference covered by the award. Applicants must attend the conference technical sessions and the Early Career Forum. The award is intended for undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and recent graduates working in industry or national labs.

Benefits

Conference registration and lodging for the entire conference (travel and other expenses not covered); approximately 50 travel awards anticipated.

Eligibility

Applicants must reside and study or work in the United States; eligible individuals include undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and working engineers in industry or a national lab who received their most recent degree within the last three calendar years. Applicants must attend the conference and participate in technical sessions and the Early Career Forum.
