Information

A grant program run to enable students, postdoctoral scholars, and global professionals to participate in the Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference (GC&E). It supports individuals who demonstrate commitment to sustainable science through research, leadership, or community engagement. Awardees receive travel support and are expected to engage in conference programming and volunteer activities.

Benefits

$1,250 or $1,500 travel grant for students/postdocs depending on residence; $1,750 fixed grant for international professionals; funds to help cover airfare, student housing, and conference registration; participation in conference programming and networking.

Eligibility

Student & Postdoc Scholars: previous ACS GCI Summer School students (2024, 2025), active members of an ACS Student Chapter, student or postdoctoral scholars co-organizing a technical session, or those demonstrating strong commitment to green chemistry and/or sustainability. Global Professionals: must be based outside of the United States and be a session or workshop organizer for GC&E, a past GC&E Conference co-chair, or a professional contributing to green chemistry through leadership, research, education, or community-building.
