Information

The Chevening Overseas Territories in the Atlantic and Caribbean British Library Fellowship is a 12-month, project-based fellowship hosted by the British Library and funded by Chevening (UK FCDO). It offers living expenses, return economy airfare, and an allowance package for fellowship-related activities, plus up to £1,000 for approved project-related expenses. The fellowship is open to mid-career professionals with strong humanities research or library experience and knowledge of one or more Overseas Territories in the Atlantic and Caribbean.

Eligibility

Citizens or residents of Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Montserrat, St Helena, or Turks and Caicos Islands; mid-career professionals with humanities research background or library experience; knowledge of the history and/or culture of one or more BOTs; postgraduate qualification and at least five years of professional or academic research experience; current employment or PhD candidate.
