ASIAA Summer Student Program

A full-time summer research internship at the Academia Sinica Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics where students conduct original research in observational, theoretical, or laboratory-based astronomy projects under supervision of ASIAA astronomers. Participants attend regular lectures on a broad range of astronomy topics and engage in project work preparing them for further studies in astronomy and astrophysics. The program runs during the northern summer and includes supervised research and possible interviews by project supervisors.

Undergraduate and graduate students majoring in mathematical, physical, or computational sciences, or engineering are eligible to apply; preference given to those entering their 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate studies or beginning a Master's program in fall 2026.

Supervisors may interview applicants.
