About this opportunity

The WHO Fellowships Programme provides health professionals from eligible countries with technical training, study tours and postgraduate or professional education to strengthen national health workforces. It includes short and long-term training, distance learning and international study tours delivered in partnership with national ministries and host institutions. The programme is aimed at building advanced public health knowledge, leadership skills and international experience. Fellows are expected to return to serve in their home country after completion.

Eligibility

Eligible candidates must be nominated by their national health administration; for fellowships lasting three months or longer candidates submit an online application reviewed by the WHO Regional Office and are advised to consult their Ministry of Health.
