About this opportunity
A grant scheme run by the Royal Society of Chemistry to support members with limited access to research funds to start new projects. Awards of up to £5,000 are available for a 12 month period to cover eligible project costs. The fund prioritises applicants in less well-funded institutes, those in developing countries and early career researchers. Applicants must hold an eligible category of RSC membership at time of submission.

Up to £5,000 of project funding for 12 months to cover eligible items such as chemicals, equipment, consumables, specialist software licences, equipment repairs and access to facilities.
Eligibility
Applicants must be RSC members in the categories Associate Member (AMRSC), Member (MRSC) or Fellow (FRSC) at time of submission, hold an independent research post, not currently hold another active Research Fund grant, and have departmental support (one application per department). Undergraduate Student Members, Affiliate and Partner Scientists are not eligible.
