Information

A fellowship programme bringing together young professionals and academics to contribute to debates on European and transatlantic security policy. The cohort runs from November 2025 to June 2026 and includes participation in strategic events and leadership in organising the Young Security Conference. Fellows present research, join policy discussions, and build academic and professional networks.

Benefits

Travel stipends for mandatory Munich events; a grant of over 500 € for travel and accommodation; opportunities to present research at events, participate in policy discussions, networking with experts, and leadership role in organising the Young Security Conference.

Eligibility

Open to young professionals and academics under the age of 35 with interest and academic or professional experience in international relations, diplomacy, security policy or related fields; priority encouraged for individuals from NATO and EU member states, countries bordering the EU and NATO’s eastern flank, and women and underrepresented groups in security studies.
