About this opportunity
A short-term fellowship programme by the European Association for the Study of the Liver to support early- and mid-career professionals in hepatology research and clinical practice. Two fellowship types are offered (Mobility and Research), each with a 6-month duration, to promote collaboration, skills development and research on liver disease. Awards support either temporary mobility between European institutions or focused research at the applicant’s home institution. Grants are intended to cover project and fellowship-related costs and to enable presentation of results at a future EASL Congress.
Benefits & funding
Grant up to EUR 25,000 per fellowship, 6-month fellowship placement (mobility or at home institution), support for travel and research costs, and funding to attend and present at a future EASL Congress.
Eligibility
Open to early- or mid-career professionals (including young investigators, clinicians, nurses and allied health professionals) affiliated with a recognised clinical/scientific institution or university in Europe; applicants must be EASL members and the host institute must be based in Europe. Research/project focus must be on liver disease; mobility fellowships require a host institute letter and research fellowships require demonstration of motivation for hepatology research.
