The Africa CDC Public Health Emergency Management Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded fellowship for mid-career African public health professionals. The programme provides standardized training, mentorship, hands-on experience, and technical assistance in public health emergency management, with study tours, EOC work, public health exercises, and guidance from global emergency-management experts. Upon completion, Fellows are expected to apply and share their enhanced capacity within their home countries.

Eligibility

Applicants must be citizens of an African Union Member State, aged 50 or younger by July 31, 2026, possess a postgraduate degree in public health or related field, have relevant public health experience, and be a full-time government-employed civil servant in public health in Africa.
