McCormick Summer Research Award

A competitive summer research award for McCormick undergraduate students to support mentored research projects supervised by Northwestern faculty. Awards provide a stipend for approximately eight weeks of full-time effort and may include limited additional research funds. Awardees must submit a brief report summarizing their work at the end of the summer.

Stipend of $4500 for ~8 weeks of full-time research; up to $500 additional research funds (if requested); competitive award recognition.

Only students enrolled in McCormick (undergraduates) are eligible; projects must be mentored by a Northwestern faculty member.

Complete the online application and upload a single PDF proposal; faculty mentor must confirm willingness to supervise and will be contacted to endorse the proposal.
