SOAS Teaching Scholarships 2026/2027

Full-time MPhil/PhD scholarships offered by SOAS University of London for eligible Black British students and students based in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. The scholarship provides full financial support including tuition fees and a maintenance allowance for a 3-year full-time programme, with additional doctoral skill development. Applicants must apply for admission to a SOAS doctoral programme and separately apply for the scholarship.

Full payment of tuition fees, maintenance allowance, and participation in doctoral skill development opportunities.

Applicants must have an offer of admission for a full-time MPhil/PhD at SOAS by the time of the scholarship selection. Open to UK/EU/Home and International fee-paying students, including Black British applicants and ordinary residents of Africa, Asia, or the Middle East.

Apply for the SOAS doctoral programme via the admissions portal and apply for the scholarship through the same system by 21 March 2026.
