Google PhD Fellowship India Program

The Google PhD Fellowship India Program is a research fellowship for PhD students that supports doctoral research in multiple computing and related fields. It provides monetary support and connects awardees with a Google research mentor. The program targets students enrolled at affiliated Indian universities and awards fellowships in areas such as machine learning, systems and networking, natural language processing and other research fields.

Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time PhD program at an affiliated Indian university; Google employees and their families are not eligible, and candidates receiving comparable industry awards are not eligible. Past awardees from certain regional Google PhD Fellowship programs are not eligible to re-apply.

Submit an online application on the country-specific Google PhD Fellowship website, register/log in, complete the application form and upload required documents as a single PDF (CV, advisor CV, transcripts, research proposal, and recommendation letters).
