About this opportunity
The FEPSAC Young Researcher Award is a competition for early-career researchers in sport and exercise psychology to submit scientific or evidence-based work. Awards are presented in two categories: Oral Presentation and Poster Presentation. Short-listed oral candidates (5) will compete for oral prizes; poster applicants include those not short-listed for oral presentation. Submissions must follow the abstract formatting requirements specified by FEPSAC.
Benefits & funding
Cash prizes for each category: Oral Presentation 1st €500, 2nd €300, 3rd €200; Poster Presentation 1st €500, 2nd €300, 3rd €200. Award sponsored by Elsevier (Psychology of Sport and Exercise).
Eligibility
Must be currently a student or have graduated up until December 2025, must be a current FEPSAC member, and must follow the guidelines for abstract submission (250-word limit, APA format without reference list).
How to apply
Submit an abstract (250-word limit, APA format without reference list) following FEPSAC abstract guidelines and upload proof of student status and proof of FEPSAC membership. Do not submit the same communication to the general programme.
