It is aimed at talented young people motivated to contribute ideas and research experience to FAO’s domains. Internships enable participants to gain a better understanding of FAO programmes and support the organisation with qualified assistance. Assignments typically last between three and eleven months.

Eligibility

Applicants must be nationals of FAO Members and be students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree programme at the time of application or recent graduates; they must have working knowledge of at least one FAO official language and appropriate residence/immigration status in the country of assignment. Candidates should be aged between 21 and 30 at the start of the internship.

Apply online to the Call for Expression of Interest published on FAO's career portal, submitting a motivation letter and evidence of university attendance; only selected candidates will be contacted and candidates may re-apply to new calls to remain considered.
