Oceania Championships

The Oceania Championships is a regional orienteering competition featuring Elite, Junior and Youth classes alongside open public events such as the Flight of the Bogong multi-day series. Eligible placegetters in designated classes will be awarded International Orienteering Federation (IOF) medals and some events are designated as IOF World Ranking Events. Entries are managed via Eventor Australia and there are options for single-day, multi-day and relay entries.

Eligible placegetters receive IOF medals; designated elite events award IOF World Ranking points. A family entry discount is available and limited enter-on-the-day courses are offered (not eligible for event prizes).

All the events are open to all orienteers from all countries. Competitors representing a member Federation of the IOF belonging to the Oceania continent as defined by the IOC are eligible for the Oceania Championship titles (or prizes); competitors from Federations outside the Oceania continent may compete but are not eligible for Oceania Championship titles or prizes.
