About this opportunity
The National Mathematics Olympiad (NMO) 2026 is a school-level mathematics competition organised by the Mathematics Research Foundation for students in Classes 1–12 across India. The competition has prelims (school level) and mains (national level for Classes 6–12) with MCQ-based Round 1 and problem-solving Round 2. It awards participation certificates to all students and merit medals, certificates and the Aryabhata Award for top winners. The prelims are held on multiple dates in 2026 and mains date and venue will be notified to participating schools.

Eligibility

How to apply
Schools register students and send registration details to the NMO Cell at Mathematics Research Foundation 20 days before the chosen exam date; pay INR 150 per student via UPI, DD or NEFT/RTGS.
