Institute for Youth in Policy International Essay Contest

An international essay contest run by the Institute for Youth in Policy that gives students a platform to express policy ideas and perspectives. Participants choose between responding to a provided policy brief or answering open prompts and must submit essays of 650 words or fewer. Winners receive cash prizes and opportunities for recognition and publication. The contest aims to engage students in civic discourse and policy analysis.

Any student, in any country, who is enrolled in an accredited high school or college/university at the time of submitting their essay; students taking academic gap years or semesters are also eligible. No current employees of the Institute for Youth in Policy may enter.
