A five-week Harvard Summer School study-abroad course examining political and natural environments of the Eastern Mediterranean from antiquity to the present, taught in English with seminars, excursions and site visits. The program is residential in Greece, with sessions in Thessaloniki, Nafplio and visits to Athens and other sites. It carries academic credit (COMP S-107, 8 credits) and includes daily seminars and a final research paper. Enrollment is limited.
