Sweden–Latvia Cooperation Fund Worldwide 2026

Information

A leadership development programme for emerging professionals from Sweden and Latvia combining digital kick-offs, embassy receptions, interactive workshops, and two in-person modules in Stockholm and Riga. The programme aims to deepen understanding of neighbouring countries' culture, politics and economy, build professional networks across the Baltic Sea, and encourage long-term cooperation and alumni engagement. Activities run from March to October 2026 and include intensive workshop modules in June (Stockholm) and October (Riga). Participation is free for selected candidates.

Intensive leadership training, cross-border networking, participation in digital kick-offs, embassy receptions and in-person modules in Stockholm and Riga; no participation fee.

Eligibility

Applicants must be 25–40 years old, have proven leadership experience or a strong interest in leadership, commit to all program components including digital and in-person modules, and provide a letter of recommendation from an employer or other qualified individual. Selection selects eight participants from each country.
