About this opportunity
The Lane Kirkland Scholarship Program provides two semesters of study at a Polish university centre plus at least two weeks of professional internship and a programme of trainings and workshops. It is aimed at university graduates from selected Eastern European, South Caucasus and Central Asian countries who are engaged in development of democracy, economy and civil society. The programme includes academic classes, Polish language courses and conventions for grantees, and finishes with a diploma.
Benefits & funding
PLN 18,000 stipend (paid in 9 instalments); accommodation; health and civil liability insurance; one return ticket to Poland (up to agreed amount); public transport cards; visa cost coverage; access to university classes and academic advisor; Polish language course; professional internship and trainings.
Eligibility
University graduates (completed 5-year study), citizens and permanent residents of targeted countries, up to 40 years of age, with at least two years of professional experience and at least two years since participation in a previous scholarship abroad longer than 6 months. Holders of a residence card in Poland and people living or working in Poland when applying are ineligible.
