About this opportunity

Five-year funded support packages are offered to a maximum of 3–4 PhD students per year in the Department of Linguistics, Languages, and Cultures. A typical package includes a tuition waiver for 9 credits per semester, health insurance, and a stipend, and funding is contingent on satisfactory academic progress. Graduate assistantships (research, teaching, or administrative) of 20 hours per week are part of the support; in the final semester many students receive a Dissertation Completion Fellowship. Additional competitive summer research fellowships and travel funding are available to graduate students.
