Information

A fully funded 36-month PhD fellowship hosted by the Department of English, Germanic and Romance Studies at the University of Copenhagen focused on gender bias in large language models. The position is funded under the EU Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and combines linguistics, AI, gender studies and computational methods. Successful candidates will conduct multilingual corpus-based research, collaborate with European partners, and gain teaching experience. The fellowship includes a monthly salary and MSCA allowances.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Linguistics or a closely related field, demonstrate English language proficiency at B2 level or higher and German at B2 level or above, and have knowledge of corpus linguistics methods. Additional knowledge of Scandinavian languages or French is an advantage.
