DUB (Design Use Build), University of Washington United States 2026

Information

A summer research program in Human-Computer Interaction and Design hosted by the DUB (Design, Use, Build) alliance at the University of Washington for undergraduate students. Participants are matched with faculty mentors and work on research projects across HCI topics such as accessibility, health, fabrication, ICT4D, and robotics. The program includes weekly mentoring seminars, participation in the DUB Seminar, and a final poster session. The appointment is a paid 9-week internship with mentoring and research opportunities.

Eligibility

Students must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident and 18 years old or older; intended for undergraduate students (students who will have already graduated by Summer 2026 are not eligible).
