About this opportunity
The Architecture Student Research Grant (ASRG) provides funding for student research projects that explore new forms and methods in architecture within societal contexts. The program awards three winning projects of up to $3,000 each. Projects may take forms such as built objects, installations, experiments, representations, written work, or models for alternative practice. Winners present their research as both an exhibition and a public lecture.

Eligibility
Taubman College students who are enrolled and continuing in the 2026-2027 Academic Year are eligible to apply; teams may include members from other disciplines and stages of education but at least one team member must be a degree seeker from a Taubman College Architecture Program (Bachelor of Science; Master of Architecture; Master of Urban Design; Master of Science; PhD).
How to apply
Submit all materials as a single PDF uploaded via the Dropbox request link and then complete the Google Form listing proposal title and student names/uniqnames; submissions must be anonymized and follow naming convention “YourProposalTitle_ASRG_2026.pdf”.
