Franz Liszt International Piano Competition

An international piano competition organized by Filharmónia Hungary to be held in Pécs, Hungary. The event includes an online preselection round based on submitted video recordings, followed by live First Round, Semi-Final and Grand Final rounds in September 2026. Finalists perform with the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra in the Grand Final. Cash prizes and special prizes including concert engagements and recording opportunities are awarded.

€35,000 First Prize, €18,000 Second Prize, €9,000 Third Prize; special prizes including concert engagements, professional recording opportunities, and performance invitations from cultural institutions.

Open to pianists born after September 1, 1996.
