Convocatoria 2026

National call for internal doctoral, doctoral completion and postdoctoral fellowships administered by CONICET. The call foresees allocation of 1,000 internal doctoral fellowships, 300 doctoral completion fellowships and 800 internal postdoctoral fellowships. The call gives priority to projects within a listed set of prioritized themes and to projects developed in specified geographic regions, allocating 70% of fellowships to those priorities and 30% by merit order. Durations are specified for each fellowship modality with defined start dates in 2027.

Doctoral fellowships: applicants who wish to complete a doctoral degree in Argentina and who do not hold a CONICET doctoral fellowship. Doctoral admission/completion modalities: applicants graduated or who owe up to five undergraduate subjects at time of application to undertake a doctorate in Argentina. Postdoctoral fellowships: applicants who have defended their doctoral thesis before the start date and meet delivery/defense requirements at time of application.
