Mozilla Foundation Incubator Democracy x AI Cohort 2026

Open call for technologists to join the Mozilla Foundation Incubator Democracy x AI Cohort 2026. Selected projects receive funding and intensive support to develop technologies that strengthen democracy, increase transparency, and promote open and accountable information ecosystems. The program provides financial support, mentorship, cohort networking, skills workshops, and access to Mozilla’s ecosystem over 12 months.

Funding of $50,000 per project for 12 months; monthly cohort calls; expert mentorship; skills workshops; network access to Mozilla’s ecosystem; regular 1:1 check-ins with Mozilla staff.

Applicants should have a working technology that people can use, a committed team to execute over 12 months, and a commitment to openness with at least part of the codebase open source or a clear plan to open source during the grant period.
