The Kosciuszko Foundation Poland 2026

Information

A suite of exchange scholarships for Americans to study or conduct research at Polish universities for the 2026–27 academic year. Programs include a year-abroad Polish language course option and studies/research grants for graduate and postdoctoral research. Benefits include tuition waivers and monthly stipends from NAWA and the Kosciuszko Foundation. Applications are managed by the Kosciuszko Foundation for placements at partner institutions such as Jagiellonian University.

Benefits

Tuition waiver (for language course option), monthly stipends of 1,800 PLN from NAWA, additional stipend from the Kosciuszko Foundation ($2,000 per semester for year-abroad; $500 per month for studies/research grants).

Eligibility

U.S. citizens: for the year-abroad Polish language scholarship—undergraduate sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students with a minimum GPA of 3.0; for studies and research grants—U.S. citizens who are undergraduate or graduate students or university faculty conducting graduate or postdoctoral research.
