Chemistry Residential Summer School

A three-day residential programme at Queen Mary University of London for Year 12 students studying chemistry at A level or IB. The programme includes workshops, lectures, laboratory sessions, and sessions on scientific programming, spectroscopy and mass spectrometry, plus sessions on UCAS/application skills. Accommodation on a full board basis is provided in university halls and social activities are included.

Full-board accommodation in university halls, participation in workshops, lectures and laboratory sessions, experience of undergraduate teaching laboratories, meetings with academics and student ambassadors, and careers/UCAS support.

Year 12 students from schools based in the UK who are studying chemistry at A level or IB may apply. A teacher/tutor reference is required to support the application.

Complete the application form and provide a teacher/tutor reference (the organisers will request the reference after the application window). Offers are made via email and fees must be paid within 5 working days of an offer. (Note: 2026 applications are closed.)
