Information
A free, non-residential one-week summer school in chemistry for Year 12 students, featuring laboratory sessions, spectroscopy analysis and a poster presentation. Participants carry out hands-on experiments (including making sunscreens) and learn techniques such as IR and NMR spectroscopy. The programme includes sessions on scientific communication and a poster presentation competition judged by King's staff and students. Lunch is provided daily and travel within Transport for London Zones 1–6 is reimbursed.

Eligibility
Open to Year 12 students who intend to study chemistry in Year 13, attend a non-fee-paying school, and have been unable to access similar opportunities elsewhere.
