Information

A two-week astronomy summer school focused on galaxies, extra-solar planet science, and stellar interior physics to be held in Entebbe, Uganda. The event targets senior undergraduates through doctoral students and early-career researchers and provides taught and research-focused activities. Selected participants receive a studentship covering transportation to/from Uganda and full boarding at the conference venue. Participants are expected to commit full time to the school and attend all scheduled activities.

Eligibility

Students and young professionals from senior undergraduate to doctoral level; preference given to early-career students, MSc/PhD candidates from sub-Saharan countries.
