African Union Continental Capacity Building Training Program for Youth 2026

The African Union Commission is organizing a Continental Capacity Building Training Programme for Citizens on Democratic Governance, Elections and Pan-African Leadership. It aims to enhance youth participation in political and electoral processes and to provide advanced leadership, advocacy, and civic engagement skills, aligned with Africa’s development frameworks. The training is planned to take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and costs such as travel, visa, accommodation and participation will be covered for selected participants.

Travel, visa, accommodation, and participation costs fully covered; training in democratic governance, leadership and civic engagement.

Open to youth affiliated with youth-led or youth-focused organizations working on democracy, governance, leadership, peace and security or related fields; applicants must be 18-35 years old and commit to participating fully in the training.
