Scholarships for Foreign University Students

A scholarship programme for non-EU applicants seeking follow-up (second-cycle) master's study or Ph.D. study at partner universities in Brno. The programme focuses primarily on technical and natural science fields and provides a monthly starter stipend and advisory services. It also includes Czech Centres abroad offering Czech courses and cultural activities to support study in South Moravia.

Monthly stipend (7000 CZK), free advisory services (application support, nostrification, visa and study matters), access to Czech language courses and cultural activities via partner Czech Centres.

Foreign applicants from countries outside the EU who seek follow-up master's or Ph.D. study in Czech language at partner universities in Brno; applicants must not have previously studied at any university or secondary school in the Czech Republic nor have resided in the Czech Republic longer than half a year at the date of final selection, and must have a good knowledge of Czech.

Online applications via JCMM are accepted from 2025-12-01 to 2026-01-31; applicants must also apply to partner universities and be accepted to be eligible for final selection by an independent committee.
