CFR Technologist-in-Residence Fellowship 2026-2027

The CFR Technologist-in-Residence Fellowship provides early- and mid-career technologists with a substantive opportunity to research and discuss issues at the intersection of technology and foreign policy or national security. Technologists in residence work at CFR to produce policy-oriented research and analysis that connects emerging technologies with foreign policy and national security. The fellowship aims to foster professional networks and interdisciplinary knowledge-sharing between technologists and CFR experts and members.

Salary for ten months; CFR employment benefits

Applicants must be early-career or mid-career professionals with a strong record in technology and an interest in foreign policy; must hold at least a bachelor’s degree and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
